Skills DirectoryData
Data and analytics skills for Claude Code, Cursor and Codex
796 skills for turning numbers into answers, ranked by installs.
The data category is wide because the crawler tags anything that mentions data, CSV or analytics, so the top of the list includes design and marketing skills. The skills that belong here do three jobs: work with tabular files, write and check SQL, and reason about metrics correctly, which mostly means not declaring a winner from an underpowered test.
xlsx from Anthropic handles spreadsheets with live formulas. sql-queries and ab-test-analysis from phuryn's pm-skills are written for product managers and explain their reasoning; dummy-dataset from the same repository generates realistic test data. analytics and ab-testing from marketingskills cover event tracking and experiment design, pandas-pro from Jeffallan is the Python route, and bigquery-pipeline-audit from GitHub's awesome-copilot reviews warehouse jobs.
Ask the agent to show the query or the formula it used, not just the result. Skills that do this by default are the ones worth keeping.
Never let a data skill run against production credentials from a scratch directory. Point it at a read replica or an exported CSV first, and only widen access once you have read the queries it writes.

- seo-audit
coreyhaines31/marketingskills
When the user wants to audit, review, or diagnose SEO issues on their site. Also use when the user mentions "SEO audit," "technical SEO," "why am I not ranking," "SEO issues," "on-page SEO," "meta tags review," "SEO health check," "my traffic dropped," "lost rankings," "not showing up in Google," "site isn't ranking," "Google update hit me," "page speed," "core web vitals," "crawl errors," "indexing issues," "stuck on page 2," "striking distance keywords," "title tag rewrite," "low CTR," "local SEO," "Google Business Profile," or "map pack." Use this even if the user just says something vague like "my SEO is bad" or "help with SEO" — start with an audit. For building pages at scale to target keywords, see programmatic-seo. For adding structured data, see schema. For AI search optimization, see ai-seo.
- xlsx
anthropics/skills
Use this skill any time a spreadsheet file is the primary input or output. This means any task where the user wants to: open, read, edit, or fix an existing .xlsx, .xlsm, .xltx, .csv, or .tsv file (e.g., adding columns, computing formulas, formatting, charting, cleaning messy data); create a new spreadsheet from scratch or from other data sources; or convert between tabular file formats. Trigger especially when the user references a spreadsheet file by name or path — even casually (like \"the xlsx in my downloads\") — and wants something done to it or produced from it. Also trigger for cleaning or restructuring messy tabular data files (malformed rows, misplaced headers, junk data) into proper spreadsheets. The deliverable must be a spreadsheet file. Do NOT trigger when the primary deliverable is a Word document, HTML report, standalone Python script, database pipeline, or Google Sheets API integration, even if tabular data is involved.

Use when visualizing infrastructure, cloud/security networks, API calls, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, state machines, database schemas, class contracts, module hierarchies, incident/release histories, or request and agent-run timings. Also use for everyday subjects with steps, parts, relationships, or states: leave and travel plans, applications and approvals, renting conversations, money or document flows, and order progress. browser-act/skills
Forges reusable Skill packages (SKILL.md + scripts) from website exploration via browser-act — no re-exploration later. Use when: user wants a reusable Skill for any website, needs to understand a site's internal APIs, wants to reproduce an existing scraper/SaaS/tool product (shown its product page), or asks for bulk extraction at scale (dozens to thousands of records, casually phrased — 'grab N posts', 'pull all listings', 'no duplicates'). Unlike browser-act: reusable, not one-off. Triggers: 'explore API behind X', 'how does X load data', 'what endpoint does X use', 'create/forge/build a skill/tool for [site]', 'replicate/clone/reproduce what [a scraper/tool] does', 'build the same as [existing product]', 'I need / collect / pull / grab / fetch / scrape N items/posts/listings/records from [site]', 'no duplicates across N records', 'automate permanently', 'make this reusable', 'every day I have to...', 'monitor [site]', 'browser-act-skill-forge'. Use this for campaign strategy, audience targeting, bidding, and optimization. For bulk ad creative generation and iteration, see ad-creative. For landing page optimization, see cro. For outbound to target accounts, see cold-email. End every recommendation with facts, hypotheses, and missing data, and label unavailable inputs MISSING instead of estimating them.
